Family Therapy
How it works
1. Initial Session
First we will meet all together to get some basic info on your relationship and the dynamics between you.
2. Individual Sessions
Then we will schedule individual sessions so I can get to know each of you individually + get more info on why you came to therapy.
3. Family Sessions
After our individual sessions, we will come back together. I will suggest a session schedule. It might be a mix of family, joint & individual sessions. Those sessions will be charged as family sessions.
Non-Patronizing
I’m not god - so who am I to judge? My therapeutic approach doesn’t shame or blame you, but invites you to start looking at yourself with gentler eyes.
Strengths-Focused
There are two ways to make progress in therapy: add good or take away bad. There are many problems in life we have no control over - sometimes, adding protective mechanisms can reduce suffering by itself.
Individually Tailored
No two patients are alike - it is my job to fit you. Together, we will build a space where you feel safe to express yourself authentically. I invite feedback - my goal is to adapt to you, not the other way around.
Collaborative
I don’t see myself as the expert - that’s you! I am just a trained professional with the goal to make you realize what a gem you truly are - and have been the whole time!
